Summary

Filenuke was originally started in 2005 under the name of DemonNetwork.co.uk it was then renamed to filenuke and we released many new versions to this previous one.

We understand there is allot of File hosts allot more popular however our intention is not to compete merely to add another alternative to the table of hosts already out there.

In this version we have corrected a number of backend issues and cleaned up the entire site in general we have also added a few more features to the user control panel, we believe its more user friendly than older versions and should attract allot more users.

The Filenuke CMS system was programmed and developed by Adam Davis who still helps maintain the project. Adam is a keen programmer who has helped maintain the project since 2005.

Q. What is the max file size for files?
A. 15 MB is the max file size we believe this to be sufficient for simple files.

Q. Can I upload swf files and have them placed on a special viewing page?
A. Yes you can select upload a flash file, from your control panel this is a dedicated Uploader which you can enter the height and width of the swf file after upload it will then present you with a link to the page which you can view the swf on, alternatively you can select standard upload to get a direct link.

Q. Is there a limit to how many files I can host?
A. Yes there is but there are not clear set limits at the moment, as soon as these become effective you'll know about it.

Q. Can I created multiple accounts?
A. Yes, however you will need a different username and email address to setup a new account

Terms / Agreement.

1. Filenuke has the right to terminate any account at any time without warning

2. Users must not attempt to gain illegal access to any other account on filenuke we take hacking attempts seriously. We also monitor activity on Filenuke collecting user data, and guest data to identify visitors.

3. User Files will be kept on filenuke for a minimal of 2 months, even so after this date they may not be removed.

4. Filenuke has the right to collect user information i.e. true IP, browser type and how you use your our service to help our network and to also identify you.

5. Filenuke, may run ads on some pages, ads are controlled by third party advertising programs and therefore we have a minimal effect on what type of ads might be rotated.

6. Filenuke does not allowed copyright material to be uploaded onto our servers, we terminate and send the necessary information to the copyright holder.

7. Accounts which remain inactive for over 4 months will be removed to free up space for new users.

8. Filenuke takes no responsibility over the material you upload, we we get complaints about a file your account will be suspended and further action may be taken.

9. Filenuke has the right at anytime to close with out warning for maintenance of servers or site work. However we normally notify users of such occurrences.

10. Accounts using excessive bandwidth may be subject to terminations without warnings at anytime we monitor such occurrences closely.
